The Capital Lacrosse Invitational is a fall lacrosse tournament conceived to support and promote the Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation and its mission of empowering the next generation through academics and athletics.
The first Capital Lacrosse Invitational will be held on October 7th, 2012, and will feature four of the nation’s premier Division I collegiate men’s lacrosse programs — Cornell University, Johns Hopkins University, Penn State University and the University of North Carolina — competing in two games each. Team USA will cap the day off with an intrasquad exhibition game.
Before the teams take to the field a select group of collegiate players will also host a free youth lacrosse clinic.
