Please join us for the sixth annual 21 Run at the Cornell Plantations. The event will include a 5k run and memorial walk, a children’s story trail, food, entertainment, numerous raffles, and a chance to meet the Cornell Men’s Lacrosse Team.
The 21 Run is held each year to honor the late Mario St. George Boiardi, a former captain of the Cornell Men’s Lacrosse Team. George had a passion for working with children in the community to ensure that books and reading are a part of every child’s life. By partnering with the Family Reading Partnership, the 21 Run will raise awareness and money to promote children’s literacy in the Ithaca community.
The 21 Run is open to everyone: competitive runners, children, families, students and friends who want to remember and further George Boiardi’s vision.
The 21 Run will take place on Sunday, April 25th at the Cornell Plantations. Registration begins at 10:00am, and the run/walk begins at 12:21pm.
